Unpack the router.  Plug ADSL cable into the a telephone socket with an ADSL splitter.

Plug the network cable supplied into a windows XP machine (network connection).

Start->Control Panel->Network Connections->Local Area Network
Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)->Properties->advanced

click add IP address set 192.168.1.10 ->Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 or 255.255.255.192

Bring Up Internet Explorer in the address bar select 192.168.1.1

Select Quick Setup (1st option on right)->Internet Access Setup->pppoE/pppoA

SET UP as Follows:

Note: you will need to provide the correct setting for your ISP Name, username and password.

Select Online Status from the menu an verify that WAN Status shows PPPoA, write down the IP address on the same line as PPPoA.

Select "Management Setup" from the main menu.

Set this as follows:

(Another Access List setting is: 82.69.245.40)

Click OK and then OK to activate the settings.

The router will then reboot.

type in to internet explorer http://192.168.1.1:8080

click OK to username and password

Select LAN TCP/IP and LAN Setup

Set the 1st IP Address and 1st Subnet Mask as required

Disable "For IP Routing Usage"

Disable "RIP Protocol Control"

Disable "DHCP Server Configuration"
